Medaca Health Group was created in 2003 to provide corporations and their employees with a nationwide system of accessible, state of the art, mental health care. Through a national network of psychiatrists and general practitioners with a special interest in psychiatry, Medaca has pioneered standardized early intervention and treatment protocols that enable employees to receive fast, effective treatment for anxiety-related disorders and depression. Medaca has a proven track record in helping employees to achieve full recovery, facilitating early return to productivity with their employers. In 2004, the company introduced its Medaca Early Depression Intervention Framework (MEDIF), a widely-acclaimed, innovative system for delivering best practice mental health care to Canadian corporations. It has established a national care centre to oversee quality, practice monitoring and outcome assessment delivered through a national network of health professionals.
