Depending on your age, the assessment may include an Enhanced Cardiovascular Screen (blood paneling and biomarkers), an Echocardiogram and a Carotid Doppler Ultrasound. Hypertension (high blood pressure) affects 20% of Canadians and in 2008 was diagnosed in nearly 6% of Medcan clients.
