Description Dr. William Sanders received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 1980 and an MD degree from the University of British Columbia in 1984. He completed an Internship at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver in 1985 and was in private Family Practice for 20 years. In 1994 Dr. Sanders obtained a diploma in Sport Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine and then went on to obtain extra training in Rheumatology and certification in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. From 1993 to 2005 Dr. Sanders had a referral practice in Sport Medicine and became a local expert in, and teacher of, soft tissue and joint injection techniques. This led Dr. Sanders to expand his repertoire into Botox and filler aesthetic treatments as well as Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy and Endovenous Laser Therapy for varicose vein disease. Dr. Sanders obtained further training in laser and non-surgical cosmetic therapies and has developed a unique skill set that allows him to provide a comprehensive array of non-surgical laser, vein, aesthetic and skin care services. In the summer of 2010 Dr. Sanders obtained his Diploma in Dermatology through Cardiff University, Wales. Classification(s)
