Many of life's challenges are realized during times of transition, whether it be growth from childhood to adolescence, changing careers, marriage, relocation, loss of a loved one or any number of other events that can both negatively and positively effect one’s life. My therapy is based on the idea that through these transitions, people seek understanding, connection and meaning. As opposed to popular belief, psychologists do not provide hard and fast answers to life’s tough questions. Rather, a good psychologist accompanies the client along their journey to find his or her own answers. Drawing upon well researched psychotherapeutic techniques, I will accompany you on this journey in a safe, supportive and confidential environment. My goal is to see my clients through their difficulties to emerge as stronger and more resilient individuals empowered with the emotional tools to meet life’s challenges in the future.
