Description
Dr. Murphy was born in Montreal, Quebec, and was raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa Medical School in 1985.He and his family moved to Kingston, Ontario to complete and internship in surgery and 2 years of residency training in general surgery at Queens University. He then returned to Ottawa to complete his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Ottawa.This was followed by a supplemental year of training in Minneapolis, Minnesota under the auspices of the University of Minnesota and The Minnesota Ear, Head and Neck Clinic.Upon returning to Ottawa in 1992, he and his wife Diana established his current practice which has flourished and expanded to include office based laser surgery for snoring (1994), hair removal and vein treatment (2003) and injectables for the management of facial lines and wrinkles
